Profile

Mr. Zhu joined China Aviation Industry Standard Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 2009 and spent three years on mechanical tooling design, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design and machining as well as first-hand exposure to the standardised management practices of a large state-owned enterprise.

He entered IP practice in 2013 and is qualified as a Chinese patent attorney. He has handled a large number of matters in machining and manufacturing, automation technology, construction engineering and mechatronics, with broad experience across patent, trademark and copyright work. He acts as a long-term IP adviser to China Construction Fourth Engineering Division, Guiyang Aluminium and Magnesium Design and Research Institute, Guizhou Normal University, Guizhou University and other enterprises and institutions.

He has studied patent mining, application drafting and office action responses in depth, and regularly delivers in-house IP training for clients.
