Mr. Fu graduated from Tongji University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is qualified as a Chinese patent attorney and as an external auditor for the Intellectual Property Management System standard (GB/T 29490). After several years in a technical role at a large state-owned enterprise, he has worked in patent practice since 2013 and joined KEWEIP in June 2023.
He provides intellectual property services to well-known universities, research institutes and enterprises in China and abroad, and has handled patent applications across mechatronics, civil engineering, water conservancy, power, metallurgy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, machinery, microbiology and computer technology. He has substantial practical experience in patent drafting and office action responses, patent mining and portfolio planning, patent strategy analysis and patent searching.
He has also handled numerous reexamination and invalidation matters, has appeared in several invalidation oral hearings, and advises enterprises on patent validity analysis, infringement analysis and other legal opinions.
