Profile

Mr. Li graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2010 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He then worked in a technical role at a large state-owned enterprise before entering IP practice in 2012, working at Harbin Songhua Jiang Patent Firm and Guiyang Zhongxin Patent and Trademark Firm. He joined Shanghai KEWEIP in June 2023 and is now a practising patent attorney, IPMS external auditor and Senior Partner.

He has handled more than 3,000 domestic and foreign patent matters covering application, reexamination and invalidation, and has extensive experience in patent mining, portfolio planning, searching, reexamination, analysis and invalidation. He serves numerous well-known enterprises, universities and research institutes in China on patent and trademark matters.

He has also conducted industry patent infringement analyses and IP portfolio planning for enterprises in Guizhou, Shenzhen and Suzhou, successfully designing around competitors existing patent barriers.
